Avianca, Copa & TACA Airlines Join Star Alliance

Officials met on June 21 for Avianca, TACA Airlines and Copa Airlines’ joining with Star Alliance. Last month, Copa Airlines, Avianca, and TACA Airlines officially joined the Star Alliance network, providing passengers of those airlines with access to more than 1,350 destinations throughout 193 countries in the Caribbean and North, Central and South Americas.

Through the joining, passengers will also enjoy access to Star Alliance’s frequent flyer benefits, which include faster and easier connections, the ability to earn and redeem miles across airlines, upgrade possibilities and access to VIP lounges worldwide.
