Chiawa in lower Zambezi National Park, and its sister camp, Old Mondoro offer tours with trained photographers to help travelers experience bush photography in Zambia’s Lower Zambezi.

Safari-goers will have the opportunity to photograph elephants, lions, leopards, waterfowl, tortoises, and birds, while the guides not only help them locate wildlife, but advise them on how to best photograph the animals. The guides at these camps have been trained as nature experts and also receive on-going training by a professional photographer. The camps also offer a unique Chiawa Night Drive Protocol, which consists of diffuse filters designed for night drive photography.

For 2015 bookings, the camps now offer special rates of seven nights for the price of five (staying at both camps) or five nights for the price of four. For April and May, rates for the 5-night itinerary start at $2,530 plus $425 park fees and conservation collection and the 7- night itinerary starts at 3,165 plus $595 for park fees and conservation collection.
