Icelandair and JetBlue Airways recently joined together to provide flights from JetBlue’s network in the U.S. and the Caribbean to Icelandair’s main hub in Iceland and its numerous destinations across Scandinavia, theU.K. and continental Europe.
The new Icelandair-JetBlue partnership will allow customers to book a single ticket for JetBlue- and Icelandair-operated flights with one-stop check-in and baggage transfer between the two airlines.
Meanwhile, Icelandair is expanding its service from Boston and New York/JFK to Reykjavik with nonstop service from Washington/Dulles toReykjavik (which officially launched May 17) and twice-daily flights starting on June 1.
Once passengers have arrived in Iceland, Icelandair offers nonstop connections to destinations in Scandinavia, including Billund and Copenhagen, Denmark; Bergen and Oslo, Norway; Gothenburg and Stockholm, Sweden; Helsinki, Finland and other popular European cities including Amsterdam, Glasgow, London and Paris.
