In the Maldives, PER AQUUM Niyama’s new interactive activity-based children’s club, Explorers, encourages mini adventurers to have fun and use their imaginations while embracing the Maldivian culture. At Explorers, children are divided by age group into tribes, where they set out to discover the Maldives under the supervision of qualified caretakers.

Children ages 1 to 2, or “Globetrotters,” participate in art, music and nature activities in quiet areas. The 3- to 4-year-old “Adventurers” race hermit crabs and play with bodu beri drums. “Voyagers,” ages 5 to 7, and “Pioneers,” the 8- to 12-year-olds, participate in more challenging activities such as kayaking, dolphin spotting, local island trips, pizza-making, mini Olympics, and immersions in the underwater playground Subsix with the resident marine biologist, as well as participate in the Great PER AQUUM Niyama Treasure Hunt. Outside, a fun area with a playground, trampoline, splash park and stage wait to be explored. Child-friendly foods and refreshments are served at Munch—a mini gourmet kitchen, where cooking classes are also held. For more information, visit peraquum.com/niyama.
