Part 4 - Active Travel

Several cruise lines offer scheduled sailings from Europe to the Haifa Port and there’s also a variety of Mediterranean cruise programs that include Israel in their itineraries. Passengers can board in Cyprus, Greece, Turkey or Egypt and enter Israel through the Haifa Port, Tel Aviv, Ashdod or Eilat. Mediterranean Classic Cruises, for example, has two Mediterranean itineraries: the 7-day, 3 Continents, 5 Countries program with a 1-day port call in Ashdod with excursions to Jerusalem and Bethlehem, and the 14-day program—Voyage Into Antiquity—that offers the same program.

In addition to regular ferry service linking Cyprus and Piraeus (Greece) with Haifa, some of the other cruise lines that offer Israel as a port of call include Azamara Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Classic Intl. Cruises, Club Cruises, Costa Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Elegant Cruises, Holland America Line, Louis Cruises, Mediterranean Classic Cruises, MSC Cruises, Oceania Cruises, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Silversea Cruises, Thomson Cruises, Transocean Tours, and World Cruises Agency.
