Kelly Headlines 2012 Soul Beach Music Festival Soul Beach Music Festival, hosted by Aruba, is proud to announce that multi-platinum selling, chart topping, Grammy award-winning powerhouse R. Kelly will headline this year’s festivities, being held May 23-28 in Aruba. Joining an already stellar legacy left by world-renowned guest artists, R. Kelly will headline the main stage of the Nikki Beach Amphitheater on closing night, Sunday, May 27.
Known for his mesmerizing live stage show, the multi-instrumentalist, producer and vocalist R. Kelly will perform an electrifying set, allowing festival-goers a chance to turn up the heat on Memorial Day weekend with one of the most notable artists of the decade. Aruba Beach Tennis National Championships The Aruba Beach Tennis competition will be held on June 23-24 at Divi Winds Beach. Ingredients of this new game are fun, sun and playing tennis on the beach. Aruba International Film Festival 2012 (AIFF) During the Aruba International Film Festival, Aruba is host to a brilliant cinematic brigade including actors, producers and directors. This glittering event features glamorous red carpet premieres, screenings of an eclectic collection of international and Caribbean films, and lively conversations with stars. Past luminaries have included Richard Gere, Kim Cattrall, Jonathan Demme and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. 26th Aruba Hi-Winds Aruba’s trade winds provide the perfect conditions for the largest amateur windsurfing event in the Caribbean, held July 3-9. Exciting windsurfing and kite boarding competitions in various categories are held off the beaches at the Fisherman’s Huts at Hadicurari. There are five days of non-stop entertainment, beach parties, events and activities as over 100 international windsurfers hit the waters of Palm Beach. Experience the Sunrise Side of Aruba Aruba offers a new and delightful venue on its agenda. Throughout the year, each Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. the Carubbian Festival bursts out in San Nicolas, the city also known as Sunrise City. During the evening hours your clients will experience the luster of the culture, music and gastronomic amenities, plus a very special cultural show lasting longer than an hour. The Carubbian Festival concludes with a Carnival extravaganza called Carnival Jump-in.
Our visitors can mingle with the local folks in a secluded area in downtown San Nicolas. Lingering along the venue area, they will find lots of food stands presenting foods from the various Caribbean islands and Latin American countries. The main program issue of the evening is a 1-hour-plus cultural and musical show on a centrally located stage in a space especially reserved for our guests.
