When the Regent Seven Seas Explorer debuts later this year, it will set sail with four new shows that will bring a jazzy, sexy, sultry vibe to this 750-passenger luxury ship.

The shows, which have been custom-designed for the Explorer, will feature a cast of 12 singers and dancers accompanied by a live 7-piece orchestra. The productions touch on everything from The Beatles to Old Hollywood, and are led by Julliard-trained musical director Jeremy Fenn-Smith.

There’s a burlesque-style show, “Paradis,” with percolating dance, steamy song stylings and audacious costumes, all set to what the cruise line says is a “heart-throbbing beat.” “Burn the Floor: My Revolution,” meanwhile, which Regent’s president and COO Jason Montague describes as “hot and sexy,” will take the audiences back to Feb. 9, 1964 when The Beatles performed on the Ed Sullivan Show. “Peggy Lee” is an homage to the American jazz and popular music singer Peggy Lee, while the Tony award-winning “A Day in Hollywood” will feature music made for films, including “Over the Rainbow,” and “Hooray for Hollywood.” For more information, visit rssc.com.
