A couple of Florida hotels are offering a chance for golfers to spend some time teeing of on the greens, complemented by some time on the state’s white-sand beaches or exploring historic sites.

Golfers can swing away with the Stay and Play Golf package while staying at the four-diamond Renaissance World Golf Village Resort in St. Augustine.

The resort provides complimentary shuttle to and from historic downtown St. Augustine, where guests can visit historic sites such as Castillo de San Marcos Fort and The Fountain of Youth, and go shopping on St. George Street. Guests can also visit the Old Town Trolley, The Old Jail, the St. Augustine History Museum, The Spanish Quarter, The Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, Flagler College, Whetstone’s Chocolate Factory and Lightner Museum, and indulge in a slew of water activities.

The Stay and Play Golf package starts at $184 per room, per night for one golfer or from $259 per room, per night for two golfers, through Dec. 18. The offer isn’t valid for groups of 10 or more and black out dates may apply.
