Hakkasan at the Fontainebleau
Hakkasan at the Fontainebleau.

For travelers looking to combine a top-notch hotel experience with some delicious bites, we’ve rounded up some of Miami Beach’s top hotel eateries. It was a tough assignment, but for you we always go the extra mile (wink, wink).

Set on the fourth floor rooftop of the 1,504-room Fontainebleau, the Chinese restaurant Hakkasan—a “must check it out” in London due to its Michelin rating—has become a favorite dinner spot for locals and visitors alike. It made its U.S. debut at the Fontainebleau a few years back and has proved to be quite successful with its authentic Cantonese cuisine, wine and sake, as well as dim sum lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Some of the more appetizing dishes on the menu include stir-fried lobster with Chinese chive and charcoal grilled honey Chilean sea bass. Beyond this happening hangout spot, the hotel features 12 restaurants, bars and lounges, as well as the 40,000-sq.-ft. Lapis spa and Miami hotspot Liv.

The Fontainebleau is offering a 24/7 Glamour package from May 1 through Sept. 30 that provides your client with a fourth night free and a $100 hotel credit that can be used on anything at the hotel, such as dinner at one of the restaurants. The package also includes unlimited Internet access; gym access and beach chairs; and newspaper daily. Rates start at $336 per night. For more information, visit fontainebleau.com.

Katsuya at the SLS South Beach.
Katsuya at the SLS Hotel South Beach.

The newly opened SLS Hotel South Beach (Philippe Starck and Lenny Kravitz are two of the minds behind this hotel) has received a lot of attention for its Marie Antionette-style design and super chic poolside cabanas, but it’s also a popular spot for diners heading to Katsuya by Starck, a Japanese restaurant led by master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi. The restaurant features specialty cocktails, sushi and sashimi, with signature dishes including crispy rice with spicy tuna and yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno and miso-marinated black cod. One roll that caught our eye is the sunset roll with freshwater eel, cucumber and avocado with eel sauce on top.

Clients heading to the SLS for a hotel stay can save on suites and receive a hotel credit with the Seriously Luxurious Suites offer. The offer includes savings of up to 15 percent in one of the deluxe SLS suites, as well as a $100 food & beverage credit with a minimum two night stay. Rates start at $485. For more information, call (855) 757-7623 with promo code SLSSUITE or visit slshotels.com/southbeach.

Aroma has been a hotspot for guests and locals looking for a quick beach stop for coffee or lunch. Another new addition at Loews is a juicing station at the breakfast buffet at Preston’s, catering to the juice craze with its one-fruits juices and complex blends.
