In honor of Earth Day on April 22, tell your clients to go green at the spa with eco-conscious treatments.

At the 4,500-sq.-ft. Jurlique Spa at Mayfair Hotel & Spa in Coconut Grove, FL, your client can choose from a variety of natural treatments with the Spring Mojito Madness Specials.

One treatment offered, the 60-minute Mojito-Lime massage, uses mint leaves and lemon to create a back scrub and exfoliating massage, since mint helps treat inflammation and loosen dead skin cells. The treatment also uses lime juice as an antioxidant and oil reducer. Recommend clients try the Mayfair Experience ($219), which features the massage and a 60-minute Brightening Facial.

In addition to the spa, the 179-room Mayfair features a 24-hour fitness center; suites with private balconies and Japanese hot tubs; a rooftop pool with eight private cabanas and panoramic views of Miami’s Biscayne Bay; and the Italian restaurant Spartico.

Rates start at $149 per night. For more information, visit mayfairhotelandspa.com.

Hyatt Regency Trinidad is also jumping on the organic bandwagon at its Spa Esencia with two new organic spa product lines, Svarasa and Ruupa. The locally made, all-natural product lines are part of the company’s global corporate initiative, Hyatt Thrive, which focuses on sustainability and local projects at the hotels.

“We are thrilled to introduce Svarasa and Ruupa’s unique products to our already extensive spa menu,” says general manager Russell George. “At Spa Esencia, we pride ourselves on the unmatched service we provide our guests and this new partnership will help enhance our commitment to Hyatt’s corporate philosophy, as well as support the health of our guests and community.”

In addition to the 9,000-sq.-ft. spa, the 428-room hotel in Port of Spain features ocean views; a rooftop infinity pool and grill; Cinnamon, a deli & patisserie; Sushi Bar; and the Caribbean restaurant, Waterfront.

Travelers looking to indulge in a spa treatment can book the Hyatt Spa package, which includes a full breakfast buffet for two; $100 Relaxation Credit at the spa; and 2 p.m. late check-out. Rates start at $329 per night. For more information, call (800) 233-1234 or visit trinidad.hyatt.com.

On the 230-acre private island in the east part of Tortola, Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina features a bevy of organic offerings at the Ixora Spa.

Ixora Spa uses only local and organic ingredients in our spa services, such as basil and rosemary grown in a nearby garden, and aloe and Neem, a tree native to Scrub and Beef Island, both harvested from undeveloped areas of the island,” says Emily Lancaster, the spa’s director. “A visit to Ixora Spa lets guests literally soak in the natural gifts of the islands.”

In addition to its spa’s green treatments, the hotel offers 52 guestrooms and 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom villas surrounded by nature on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and three private beaches.

For clients seeking a romantic escape, the 4-night Scrub Island Romantic Getaway package features an Ocean View guestroom; Champagne upon arrival; a 60-minute couples massage with private continental breakfast for two in the spa; dinner for two; a snorkeling trip for two; airport welcome and transfers; and a welcome cocktail. Rates start at $578 for a guestroom. For more information, visit scrubisland.com.
