IsramWorld is opening Cuba to travelers by offering three niche tours, including itineraries geared toward LGBT travelers and those interested in Cuba’s Jewish heritage.
Three 9-day tours will be offered by IsramWorld brands: Latour will feature tours for general travelers; PrideWorld will offer tours for gay travelers; and IsramWorld will offer a tour focusing on the country’s Jewish community and heritage. The company will offer four departures this year and 20 throughout 2014.
Travelers will stay in the Melia Habana Hotel in Havana, with other accommodations provided in Santa Clara, Trinidad and Cienfuegos. The people-to-people tours will allow travelers to have exchanges with Cuban professionals, such as artists, performers and urban planners, with the niche tours focusing on meetings in the Jewish and gay communities.
Rates start at $3,985 pp and include roundtrip flights from Miami; some meals; and a pre-trip overnight and briefing at the Sheraton Miami Airport. For more information, call (800) 825-0825 or visit latour.com. For more on IsramWorld, call (800) 223-7460 or visit isramworld.com.
