Introducing a new 2012 itinerary to its already extensive portfolio, International Expeditions is now making preparations to travel to Nicaragua.
The Nicaragua tours available—beginning April 14, 21 and 28—will take guests on a 9-day journey through several national reserves, including Juan Venado Island, Selva Negra, Montibelli and Chocoyero, as well as on hikes and boating excursions to search for birdlife such as quetzals, toucans and green parakeets. Tours will be guided by well-known naturalist guides.
Also included in the itinerary are visits to the colonial cities of Leon and Granada, where travelers will take guided walking tours that focus on the architecture, art and history of each city.
