While many activities in Miami Beach are not expected to open until June at the earliest, here’s a suggested itinerary of hotel offers, outdoor activities and must-try restaurants for summer travel that can be enjoyed while observing social distancing guidelines.

The iconic Eden Roc is offering up to 35 percent off stays in every room category for those booking between now and May 31, 2020. Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina residents can also take advantage of the limited time offer of saving 33 percent off their best rates with free upgrade and complimentary valet parking.

The Fontainebleau is also offering the best rates it has ever had, as well as the Bleau Summer offer that includes a daily $50 food and beverage credit and complimentary valet parking.

Socially distanced outdoor activities could include a stroll around local hidden gem Miami Beach Botanical Garden. This 2.3 acre urban oasis features subtropical plants from all around the world, unusual palms and South Florida native plants. While more active visitors can go parasailing or jet skiing with Miami Beach Ocean Watersports; or enjoy paddle boarding or kayaking with South Beach Kayak.

In the evening, reserve a table at Hosteria Romana in the historic Espanola Way for a Saturday dinner under the stars while watching a live Samba show; or enjoy outdoor dining at Call Me Gaby, but be sure to reserve early to be assured of the best seats. The award-winning LT Steak & Seafood at The Betsy Hotel is offering weekly specials as well as a 50 percent discount on all bottles of wine. Its menu is also available for delivery through Uber Eats and Postmates. Yard House is offering happy hour specials from May 25 – May 29 at its new to-go bar, as well as half-price appetizers and pizzas. While its dining room remains closed, it is offering contactless carside pickup and delivery.
