After recently enhancing its Asia portfolio with 40 tours to 15 destinations, Travel Impressions is adding 20 more destinations in Africa, the Eastern Mediterranean, and the Persian Gulf region.
Newly added destinations in Africa include Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Morocco, Namibia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. This is in addition to South Africa and Zimbabwe, where Travel Impressions already has a presence. Tours in Africa range from three to 18 days long and will offer diverse activities and accommodations to fit clients’ varying needs. Additionally, Israel, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates will be added to the Eastern Mediterranean and Persian Gulf portfolio. These programs are equipped with more in-depth experiences that facilitate interactions with the local cultures and provide agents with a range of exclusive experiential tour products for their clients. For all newly added tours, Travel Impressions will continue to offer the “concierge program” with the ability to completely customize the package for each customer.
“Cultural curiosity has become an influencer for travel decisions—a trend that will increase in the next few years. Unknown and hidden destinations are beginning to attract travelers more than ever,” said Scott Wiseman, president of Travel Impressions, in press materials. “Travel Impressions wants to provide our loyal travel partners with a greater range of unique tours for their clients.”
With the newly added destinations and itineraries, Travel Impressions, who partnered with fellow USTOA member SITA World Tours in order to launch these programs, will now offer more than 70 tour options in Africa, the Eastern Mediterranean, and the Persian Gulf. New tours in the portfolio include the 8-day Egypt: Land of the Pharaohs itinerary; the 3-day Rwanda Gorilla Trek; the 4-day Simba Safari in Kenya; and the 7- or 10-day Imperial Cities of Morocco itinerary.
