One of the reasons travelers seek out a safari experience may be to take brag-worthy photos to show friends and family. Now, Angama Mara, a safari lodge overlooking Kenya’s Maasai Mara, is offering an onsite photographic studio for guests to use to get those photos to perfection.
The newly launched studio will serve as a creative hub for all guests. Travelers can use the studio for content creation, teaching, and sharing. The Studio will also host multiple photographic tutorials and editing sessions with Angama Mara’s onsite wildlife photographer to teach guests how to use their own cameras in a professional setting. The Studio is equipped with Apple desktop computers and photo-editing software, to give guests the opportunity to spend some of their time between safaris editing, retouching, color-correcting and perfecting their wildlife photos.
For those guests who want to make the most of their photographic safari experience, suggest booking a safari with Adam Bannister, Angama Mara’s onsite wildlife photographer and naturalist. He will accompany guests for a private safari. The full-day safari for four includes an experienced guide, as well as Adam as the photographic host. (Booking in advance for this safari is advised as the safari is subject to Adam’s availability.)
Rates start at $1,200 per night pp. For more information, visit angama.com.
