Amtrak Vacations recently launched an enhanced online booking tool to give travel advisors an easier way to book rail travel for their clients.
Using Amtrak Vacations first-of-its-kind online booking engine, advisors can now book independent, customized train vacations inclusive of preferred dates and times, departure and arrival cities, Amtrak train routes, hotels, tours and activities, transfers, and rail—all in real time. Advisors will also now be able to instantly check availability and pricing of sleeping accommodations onboard the train and reserve their selection for those scenic, overnight trips.
“Advisors already know Amtrak Vacations is a one-stop shop for independent rail vacations, and now with the ability to go online and customize an itinerary based on their client’s needs, it’s even easier,” said Jim Marini, v.p. of sales, Amtrak Vacations, in press materials.
Amtrak Vacations’ booking system now allows travel advisors to choose from more than 500 Amtrak stations and directly book travel to destinations across the US, including popular national parks and major cities. As always, advisors can still call and speak directly to an Amtrak Vacations Rail Specialist for both reservations and questions.
