Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, the five-star, flagship property from leading Japanese hospitality company Fujita Kanko, has completed the third phase of its renovations with plans to complete the refurbishment of 241 of its 267 guestrooms and suites by 2017. To provide a glimpse of the total makeover, the hotel has unveiled its renovated Japanese suite. The one-of-a-kind accommodation consists of two Japanese-style rooms complete with tatami mats that can accommodate up to six guests, elements of traditional teahouses, and a Japanese-style bathroom featuring mikage stone with aromatic Japanese cypress accessories. Additional themed decor includes scrolls displayed in the alcove featuring calligraphies and natural materials such as camellia trees. Modern amenities found in the suite include a portable waterproof TV guests can use while taking a bath and two stylish mini bar areas with sake, a coffee machine, glasses and other drinks. Through Dec. 29, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo is offering a special Japanese Suite package that includes a multi-course dinner, spa access, and car service from $1,355 pp dbl.

Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo plans to eventually offer Japanese tea ceremonies performed exclusively in the Japanese suite. The hotel also unveiled its new Pagoda Lounge, a luxurious space with garden views and a water bar with over 20 types of water from around the country, exclusively available for suite guests.
