After closing its doors in order to complete a restyle of the resort, Belmond La Samanna is now scheduled to start welcoming guests on Dec. 10, 2018.

Located within St. Martin’s French West Indies neighborhood overlooking the beach of Baie Longue, Belmond La Samanna now features a “pastel-chic” look with pastel blues, greens, pinks, and peaches seen throughout the property alongside colorful botanical prints on fabrics, artworks, lighting, and mirrors. The 83-room resort will also see the reopening of its French restaurant Trellis, and its historic La Cave Wine Cellar, which offers a fine dining and wine pairing experience, as well as its Beach Bar, which gives guests a post-dinner nightlife. Guests can venture off property for shopping in nearby designer boutiques and market stalls in Marigot, or they can also participate in watersports and excursions at Baie Longue beach including water-skiing, kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, and scuba diving off nearby reefs.

Nightly rates at Belmond La Samanna start at $545 for a Deluxe Ocean View Room and $845 for an Ocean View Suite.

For those who would like to experience both St. Martin and Anguilla, Belmond La Samanna is teaming up with Belmond Cap Juluca, opening Nov. 17, 2018, to offer travelers a stay at both properties. A 5-night stay (three nights at Belmond La Samanna and two nights at Belmond Cap Juluca) for two people during low season starts from $3,500, including transfers and a $200 credit per resort, excluding taxes and resort fees.
