Last night, Recommend sneaked away to Miami’s iconic Biltmore hotel for a few delicious bites at the property’s renowned French restaurant, Palme d’Or, and what a royal feast it was.

Our eight—count them—course meal was truly an experience fit for any of old Hollywood’s stars or U.S. Presidents—many of whom have walked these hallowed halls. It came complete with a couple of dishes that were sprinkled with gold (yes, that’s real melted 24-karat gold we’re talking about). Our dishes included langoustines, sea urchins, seared branzino, lamb, iraty cheese (a type of manchego cheese), and a chilled peach, verbena ice cream set in an ice bowl complete with changing glowing lights. Each dish was presented under a silver dome, uncovered by our personal maitre d. The elegant, yet simple experience, had us feeling like true VIPs.

Your clients can indulge in a VIP experience of their own with the Romantic Escape package, which gives couples the luxury of enjoying the spa, as well as the Palme d’Or restaurant. The package also includes deluxe accommodations with a welcome amenity of Champagne and strawberries; one 5-course tasting dinner for two at Palme d’Or; one 50-minute couple’s massage; daily breakfast at any of the resort’s three restaurants, Fontana’s Courtyard, The 19th Hole, or Cascade (on the weekends only); complimentary valet parking; and unlimited fitness classes, health club access and tennis during their stay.
