Following a successful September opening of Excellence El Carmen in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Excellence Group Luxury Hotels & Resorts is announcing enhancements to its existing luxury properties portfolio.
“Now, with Excellence Group’s newest property, Excellence El Carmen, recently opened in Punta Cana, the Excellence Punta Cana resort will temporarily close its doors from July 1 to Oct. 31, 2017 for a complete renovation of its facilities…,” said Excellence Group’s v.p. of sales and marketing Domingo Aznar in a press release statement.
Suites will be transformed from their current tropical decor to a modern, sleek design with subdued colors and clean lines. In addition, 20 new suites each with a private pool will be added.
All of Excellence Punta Cana’s bars and restaurants will be renovated to reflect the property’s new modern aesthetic and a new sports bar will be added to offer more a la carte dining options. There will also be a new coffee house serving up pastries, sandwiches, teas, coffee beverages and more.
Guests who choose to further upgrade their experience at Excellence Punta Cana will find a wholly revamped Excellence Club in a more secluded prime location, featuring two pools, two pool bars, a club lounge with front desk and concierge, a premium bar, and the most luxurious restaurant on property.
