InterContinental San Juan is officially reopening its doors in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. The iconic hotel has undergone an extensive multi-million-dollar enhancement, including the first major room remodel for the hotel in 20 years. The renovation has upgraded and transformed the property to be in trend with the latest in design, technology and comfort.

Situated oceanfront and steps from palm-fringed Isa Verde Beach, the property is minutes from local nightlife and just two miles from the San Juan International Airport. InterContinental San Juan is also home to an outdoor lagoon-style pool with a swim-up bar, four restaurants serving a variety of cuisines, and a full-service spa.

Enhancement highlights include:

  • All 398 guestrooms, club rooms, and suites have been revamped with a crisp blue-and-white palette, echoing the island’s pristine beach and bright waters while subtle details highlight San Juan’s history and colonial style
  • An entirely new master suite and the addition of two executive suites provide VIPs, honeymooners, and groups with opulent accommodations during their stay
  • A state‐of‐the‐art digital management and content delivery system based on a “cloud” allows capabilities to evolve and customizations to be made in minutes from anywhere via the internet
  • A dedicated conference floor, pattered with rich textures, houses meeting rooms featuring floor to ceiling windows with scenic views
