Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Jade has returned to her seasonal homeport of Tampa as an essentially new vessel following extensive renovations to the ship’s staterooms and public spaces, just in time for her summer season sailing from Hamburg, Germany to the Norwegian Fjords. The enhancements—part of The Norwegian Edge investment program—include two new restaurants, two new bars and lounges, updated decor in many public spaces, and a refurbishment of all staterooms.

Norwegian Jade’s popular Cagney’s Steakhouse restaurant added additional seating to the completely refurbished space.

On deck eight at Norwegian Jade’s new 24-hour neighborhood pub-style restaurant, O’Sheehan’s Bar & Grill, guests are served cold brews and snacks in a casual setting with banquet seating. The Pit Stop, another newly installed concept for Norwegian Jade, meanwhile, is a 1950s-style American diner decorated with vintage license plates, gas station signage and classic car elements. In addition to receiving a new home on deck 13, the Moderno Churrascaria restaurant now has a new glass door entrance and floor-to-ceiling windows, while Norwegian Jade’s popular Cagney’s Steakhouse restaurant added additional seating to the completely refurbished space, where guests will find updated flooring, new wall linings and a new virtual fireplace. Adjacent to Moderno Churrascaria is the new Sugarcane Mojito Bar with granite bar fronts. The ship’s other nightlife venues include the new Bliss Ultra Lounge and the completely redesigned Spinnaker Lounge, featuring new flooring and window treatments, decorative chandeliers, reupholstered seating and refurbished bars with contemporary mosaic tiling.

In addition to the updates done to the public spaces, every stateroom received new carpeting, furniture, flat-screen TVs, artwork and larger headboards with USB charging outlets. Guests sailing in The Haven, Norwegian’s ship-within-a-ship luxury suite concept, will also enjoy new finishes to walls and ceilings and new flooring throughout the suites and balconies, plus a completely refurbished Haven Courtyard. Guests of the ship’s top villas and suites also have access to the Haven’s four new plush cabanas nestled at the top of the ship and the newly refinished pool. Inside the ship’s gym, guests can work up a sweat on all-new TechnoGym fitness equipment.

Norwegian Jade will spend her entire summer season sailing the Norwegian Fjords from Hamburg, Germany, as well as Norway and North Cape itineraries. For more information, call (888) 625-2784 or visit ncl.com.
