Crystal Cruises has signed an order for eight new ships with the Lloyd Werft Group. Crystal will build six new luxury river yachts to be deployed on European rivers with deliveries from 2017 to 2019, as well as the Crystal Endeavor and the first of three Crystal Exclusive Class ships.
The line originally announced four new vessels for European rivers, but with pent-up demand, it has now ordered six new vessels. Additionally, the Crystal Endeavor, a Polar Class luxury megayacht able to sail the Arctic and Antarctic circles, will be deployed in August 2018, and the first Crystal Exclusive Class ship, accommodating 1,000 guests and residents, will be delivered in the fall of 2019.
