In a village in the Florence province, surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, and olive trees, lies the newly opened Toscana Resort CastelfalfiWhat was once an 800-year-old medieval village has been transformed into a luxury residential and resort property offering guests gourmet cuisine, hotel accommodations, outdoor activities from horseback riding to trekking and biking, and tours of the estate’s 25 acres of vineyards and 10 acres of olive groves.

Set on 11 acres of rolling hills in Fiesole, close to the city of Florence, is the luxury villa hotel, Il Salviatino. After a $20 million renovation, the hotel now features 45 rooms and suites while maintaining its historic charm with 19th century frescos and antique mosaics.
