Peninsula Hotels debuts in Europe with the opening of its Paris hotel on Aug. 1.
When Peninsula Paris opens its doors, there will be festivities throughout the year at all Peninsula Hotels from French-themed food promotions with brasserie-inspired menus in all hotel lobbies to French-themed afternoon tea, French delicacies and French music. Guests can sample French fare with a glass of Champagne, or other popular French drinks. Maitre Patissier classes will also be hosted across all hotels for guests and their children, allowing budding chefs to try their hand at French pastry classics.
In addition to the festivities, Peninsula Hotels worldwide have chosen its own way to celebrate All Things French. For example, the Peninsula Bangkok will host a Bateau Mouche sunset cruise on the Chao Phraya River offering French canapes and Champagne on one of its renovated Thai rice barges; the Peninsula Shanghai’s chef will introduce a 5-course dinner paired with wines from five of France’s most celebrated wine regions; and hotels in New York, Chicago, and Beijing will all commemorate Bastille Day with events and parties.
