English Lakeland Ramblers has created three new 7-night itineraries that explore Scotland by foot.
With The Hebrides: the Islands of Skye, Lewis and Harris tour, travelers spend two nights at Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis; two days on Skye; take a mini-cruise to the Outer Hebrides; and spend three nights on the islands of Harris and Lewis, where they can walk from one island to the other. The tour includes five fully guided hikes and expert talks focusing on Scottish history, covering four to seven miles per day. Travelers will also visit the cliffs at Quiraing on Skye, the Standing Stones of Callanish on Lewis, and the ancient churches of Harris.
