Zicasso has unveiled The Tour Awakens, a Star Wars-inspired private tour that visits the filming locations of the latest installment of the film series. The tour visits Iceland, England and Ireland, following in the footsteps of both characters and cast members. Beginning in Reykjavik, the world’s most northerly capital city, guests will stay at the Art Deco Borg Hotel, before departing for Myvatn where Star Wars scenes were filmed. In the otherworldly landscape of lava streams and turquoise lakes, guests can explore the dormant Krafla volcano by day, and in the evening witness the stunning Northern Lights.

Travelers will then fly to London and visit the Star Wars exhibit at Madame Tussauds wax museum, as well as Pinewood Studios, which served as a base for filming the latest installment in the sci-fi franchise. After exploring the Forest of Dean in Puzzlewood, where the film’s final battle took place, guests will then fly to Ireland for the last part of the tour. Guests will stay at the Moorings Portmagee Hotel, which hosted the cast and crew of the film while on location in Ireland, and then travel by ferry to the ancient monastic remains of Skellig Michael. After climbing the 600 hand-carved steps and searching for Luke, the tour concludes with a helicopter ride over the island, providing an unobstructed panoramic view of the landscape similar to the final scenes of the film. Rates start at $10,935 pp, and include accommodations, breakfasts, private tours, entrance fees, transfers and 24/7 support. For more information, visit zicasso.com.
