Travelers can “shop til they drop” without leaving their hotel room with The Dylan’s Room Shopping program—a virtual in-room shopping service.
The hotel, located on the Keizersgracht Canal in the center of Amsterdam’s “nine streets” of galleries, antique shops, and clothing stores has partnered with the Dutch online shopping site, 9streetsonline.com, for a twist on the standard room service.
By activating the complimentary Room Shopping Service button on the hotel room TV screen, guests will be able to shop for local art pieces, children’s clothing and toys, accessories, shoes, purses, and more. Items purchased Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. will be delivered to the hotel room within an hour; purchases made after 5:30 p.m. will be delivered the next day.
In celebration of the debut of the Room Shopping program, The Dylan is offering a Room Shopping package that includes an overnight stay in a Luxury Room, buffet breakfast, “9streets” cocktail in Bar Barbou, complimentary popcorn for two, $34 credit towards the Room Shopping program with a minimum spending of $137, and complimentary 1-hour delivery of purchased items on weekdays.
