Marriott International, Inc. and Turnberry Associates have announced that Turnberry Isle Miami, Autograph Collection will emerge as JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa.
The reimagined hotel features a brand-new 16-story Orchid Tower comprised of 325 guestrooms that double the resort’s occupancy to 685 rooms. Accommodation types in the Orchid Tower include guestrooms with one king-size bed or two double beds, 1-bedroom suites, presidential suites, and a 2-bedroom penthouse. The JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa also includes a renovated hotel entrance and lobby, which will house Soff’s, a welcoming lobby bar named for Aventura’s founder Don Soffer. Turnberry’s pro shop has also been redesigned and expanded, and the resort’s two 18-hole golf courses have been reimagined by golf icon Raymond Floyd.

The second phase of the rebrand will include the introduction of Tidal Cove, a waterpark with a FlowRider Triple, a kids’ splash park, a lazy river, and 25 luxury cabanas, as well as two distinct dining options. Tidal Cove is set to debut spring 2019.
