For example, at La Lancha—a 10 bungalow hideaway tucked high above Lake Peten Itza in the Guatemalan rainforest—guests can take advantage of The La Lancha Mindful Retreat package, which includes a detox session at the hotel’s authentic temazcal sweat lodge made from volcanic rock, a lesson in meditation by the lake using copal incense burning, plus a 4-night stay in one of the resort’s newly renovated Lakeview Suites, three daily meals, and transfers to/from local airport.
