The Brando, a luxury resort on the French Polynesian island of Tetiaroa just 30 miles north of Tahiti, opens in July.

This all-inclusive resort featuring 35 deluxe villas—22 along West Turtle Beach and 13 along South Mermaid Bay—reflects the Polynesian lifestyle and traditions with luxurious furnishings and deluxe amenities. Each villa has its own private beach area and plunge pool. Guests can stay in 1-, 2- or 3-bedroom villas. The 2- and 3-bedroom villas are equipped with a kitchen for the resort’s chef to use for private functions. All stays at The Brando include all meals in all dining venues, most beverages (bottled water, soft drinks, beer, select wines, champagne, and spirits), 24-hour dining in the privacy of one’s villa, one excursion pp per day, 50-minute spa treatment for one person per villa per day in the resort’s Polynesian spa, laundry service, Internet access; one bicycle per guest, and access to an outrigger canoe, kayak, and paddleboard, and snorkeling equipment.

Other amenities include a lagoon-view bar, beach bar, pool, library, boutique, fitness room, tennis courts, youth area, excursions and watersports. The property also has its own organic garden and orchard, where chefs make daily fresh selections. There is even an EcoStation, an onsite laboratory, where scientists conduct field research and are available to talk with guests.

The Brando’s unique concept combines environmental purity, luxury and Polynesian charm. The resort is designed around clean, renewable energy sources.
