Reservations are now open for guestrooms and suites at MGM Springfield, which will officially open its doors to guests on Aug. 24, 2018.

Located 80 miles from Boston with easy access to both Boston and the nearby Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut, MGM Springfield will be the first gaming resort in Massachusetts. As a member of the MGM Resorts portfolio, MGM Springfield will have the same signature upscale accommodations, celebrated chef restaurants, lounges, entertainment, and expansive casino floor that travelers expect to find at any MGM property.

“August 24 will be a very special day when we finally open our doors and welcome everyone to enjoy the incredible experiences we’ve been planning,” said MGM Springfield general manager Alex Dixon in press materials. “We’ve worked hard to curate a spectacular destination and build a hospitality team of 3,000 industry professionals to deliver unrivaled service.”

MGM Springfield features 252 guestrooms, including 16 suites. Visitors will be able to catch glimpses of Springfield’s history within the rooms with features such as historical building facades framing the windows; reclaimed wood tables made from trees on the former Bliss Street in the Garden and Spa Suites; and a custom chandelier made of vintage hats, inspired by Dr. Seuss in the Presidential Suite.

Nightly room and suite rates start at $219. For more information, visit mgmspringfield.com.
