In celebration of its new website design and logo, Paradisus Resorts brought sun and sand to Union Square in New York City earlier this month via the Be Sunny Mobile pop up beach. This first installment in the Melia Hotels International luxury all-inclusive brand’s new Where You Want to Be interactive campaign saw chilly New Yorkers lounging in a hammock, enjoying warm refreshments, indulging in spa treatments and snapping photos in a themed photo booth. According to press material, the Where You Want to Be tagline “invites guests to customize their Paradisus experience, and decide ‘where they want to be’ relaxed, in love, vacationing with friends, and so on.” Paradisus announced its plans to roll out additional elements surrounding the rebranding throughout 2016, including social media and marketing initiatives and new partnerships. Paradisus currently has properties in Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Punta Cana with plans to develop properties in Costa Rica, Cabo San Lucas and other tropical destinations.
