Island Routes celebrated its seventh anniversary on June 1, and with that came the announcement of a new destination (its 12th one, in fact)—Mexico.
The agreement, in conjunction with Dolphin Discovery in Cancun, will bring six new tours for Island Routes, including Dolphin Encounter and Dolphin Royal Swim VIP, plus interactions with manatees and sea lions during the Sea Life Discovery Plus. Other tours that will be offered through Island Routes include a zipline adventure approximately 100 ft. above sea level that will take guests zipping past cliffs and above the sea as part of the Cancun Reef Park tour. This tour showcases one of the greatest ecological and natural attractions of Cancun while offering views of Isla Mujeres.
Mexico is the first of two destinations the company is scheduled to launch by the end of 2016. Island Routes also offers tours in Antigua, Aruba, the Bahamas, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Turks & Caicos, the Dominican Republic, and St. Maarten.
