Grand Velas Los Cabos is set to make its debut on Mexico’s Baja Peninsula this November. The $150 million beachfront resort, Velas Resorts’ fifth property, will feature 306 Ocean View suites, each spanning more than 1,180 sq. ft. with private terraces and private plunge pools; five gourmet restaurants with an extensive beverage and wine program; and a 19,375-sq.-ft. spa with 20 treatment rooms plus a hydrotherapy facility. At the onsite Life Fitness Center, guests can work out with a personal trainer or participate in group exercise classes including yoga, Pilates and meditation. For younger guests, Grand Velas Los Cabos will offer separate teens and kids club facilities and activity programs, including soccer, treasure hunts and cooking classes for kids 13 and under, plus a game room complete with an X-Box Kinect, a pool table, air hockey, ping pong, foosball, and a karaoke set for kids ages 13-18.

After an event-filled day, the whole family will enjoy gathering for a gourmet meal in one of the resort’s signature restaurants, which include the Mexican eatery Frida, the French bistro Piaf, and the Italian restaurant Lucca. For a more casual dining experience, the all-day restaurant Azul offers panoramic beach vistas in a relaxing, al fresco setting. Make sure to mention the resort’s 24-hour personalized butler concierge service, 24-hour en-suite service, and 3:1 staff ratio when booking this property. Rates start at $750 pp per night.
