Just in time for the busy months of spring and summer travel, The Florida Keys will see an increase in flight service and day trip excursions.
American Airlines is scheduled to begin new nonstop service between Key West International Airport and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in June. The new flight service will be offered once a week between June 9 and Aug. 25, 2018 aboard a 76-passenger E175 regional jet.
For lovers of literature, Air Key West and OurKeyWest Concierge are collaborating to offer a Hemingway Literary Day Trip to Havana. Departing on Mondays and Fridays, pricing for this excursion is $995 pp, and all guests must already have a valid passport. This price includes airfare and visas, ground transportation, and a local guide in Havana, as well as all taxes, entry fees and lunch. Passengers depart from Key West at 7 a.m. and return by 7 p.m.
