New openings for Hilton Hotels in Mexico to Belize offer local flavors and experiences.

Hilton recently announced plans to welcome the luxury Waldorf Astoria Cancun and the all-inclusive Hilton Cancun resorts to its Mexico portfolio. The two neighboring properties are scheduled to open in 2021 featuring distinct amenities and characteristics across 100 acres of beachfront near Benito Juarez, Cancun in Quintana Roo on the Yucatan Peninsula.

The Waldorf Astoria Cancun will feature 150 guestrooms and suites with waterfront or mangrove-facing terraces and private balconies. It will also include two plunge pools, and two dining venues, plus the brand’s signature Waldorf Astoria Spa, which will integrate Mexican healing traditions with native ingredients for treatments.

The neighboring Hilton Cancun will house 600 guestrooms with panoramic views, plus offer guests six all-inclusive dining options. The property will also offer guests the opportunity to experience curated adventures in local art, gastronomy, and culture.

Over in Latin America, the Curio Collection by Hilton is also expanding with the new Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club, Curio Collection by Hilton property now open in Belize’s Ambergris Caye—marking the brand’s first property in the country. The new property features 205 cottage and villa-style guestrooms across a 60-acre waterfront site with 10 dining venues. Guests of the property have access to amenities such as the Bay Club with a grand pool, bar, and poolside spa treatments, and the private Beach Club, located just a short ride from the on-site marina. The property’s 22,000-sq.-ft. Great House features a signature restaurant and bar where guests can relax and mingle. Guests can also hope on one of the property’s golf carts, electric bikes, or pedal bikes to explore the grounds, take an aquatic expedition to explore the Belize Barrier Reef, or take part in watersports such as diving, snorkeling, fly fishing, paddleboarding, and more. The property is located less than two miles from San Pedro, the only town on the island. Rates start at $369 a night for Garden Cottage accommodations including WiFi, continental breakfast, and roundtrip transfers to San Pedro Airport.
