American Cruise Lines has announced that its new cruise ship American Constellation has completed construction ahead of schedule. While the two new Chesapeake Bay cruises added to the beginning of American Constellation’s inaugural season in May have already sold out, there is still availability on the ship’s other itineraries including Maine Coast and Harbors Cruise, Historic South and Golden Isles Cruise and American’s new Grand New England. Rates on the American Constellation start at $4,100 in 2017.

In addition to recently announcing the beginning of construction on a fleet of five modern riverboats, American Cruise Lines is reporting that its newly named American Constitution coastal ship is also ahead of schedule and now available for bookings. With the capacity for approximately 175 passengers, the new ship will feature spacious staterooms with private balconies, as well as a variety of lounges.
