American Cruise Lines is offering its passengers a gift for the holidays with complimentary shore tours on all of its 2014 Mississippi River itineraries.

Passengers on board the 8-day Mississippi River cruises can choose from daily complimentary shore excursions at each port. Tours include the Battle of Vicksburg in Vicksburg, MS, touring the Vicksburg National Military Park; the Oak Alley Plantation tour in Oak Alley, LA, exploring the canopy of 300-year-old live oak trees; and the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum, in Hannibal, MO, venturing through the town that inspired Mark Twain’s writing.
