VIA Rail Canada is dropping their rates with new Economy fares on two of its routes—between Toronto and Vancouver aboard the Canadian, and its maritime route between Montreal and Halifax aboard the Ocean.
Fares aboard the Canadian start at $48 from Toronto to Sudbury Jct; $82 from Winnipeg to Saskatoon; and up to $364 from Toronto to Vancouver. Aboard the Ocean, rates start at $32 from Halifax to Moncton, $75 from Bathurst to Montreal, and up to $112 from Halifax to Montreal. Travelers aboard VIA Rail will experience Canada’s changing landscapes of prairies, the Rocky Mountains, and national parks in the Pacific Coast.
