Beginning this June, Ethiopian Airlines will operate Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evening flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (ADD), with return flights from ADD to JFK departing in the morning. Both flights make an intermediate stop in Lome, Togo. This newest service will take place on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner featuring 24 business class and 246 economy seats, all of which are equipped with on-demand video monitors. The airline’s first direct service connecting the U.S. West Coast to Africa began last year with the inauguration of a Los Angeles to Addis Ababa flight via Dublin.
