Langham Place in New York City has created new family-friendly fitness activities in partnership with kids’ fitness expert Steve Ettinger. Families with children 3 and over can book the Family Fun & Fitness package that includes outdoor and in-room fitness options created by Ettinger.
Family Fun & Fitness itineraries revolve around a customized walking map that features local landmarks in New York City—High Line, Bryant Park, and Central Park—as well as multiple stops along the journey to allow sightseeing. In case of rain, Ettinger designed in-room activities that allow families to stay active while remaining dry. The Family Fun & Fitness package includes a special menu of healthy treats made by executive chef David Vandenabeele; accommodations in the Family Place room or the Family One Bedroom Suite; and a gift bag with a branded nylon backpack, a water bottle and a copy of Ettinger’s children’s book “Wallie Exercises.” In addition, families can consult with Ettinger for a personal training session starting at $175 per hour.
The 214-guestroom Langham Place hotel is located in a 60-story high-rise building on Fifth Avenue between Bryant Park and the Empire State Building in Midtown Manhattan.
