Highball & Harvest opens in Grande Lakes at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando next month.

We’ve put together three properties that have revamped or added to their dining options for clients looking not only for a good hotel stay experience, but good food, too.

Early next month at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando—Grande Lakes, Highball & Harvest (H&H) will be opening. This casual dining restaurant features interactive dining, a rail-road inspired design, handcrafted cocktail classes, and a creative menu.

The restaurant will offer country- and cajun-inspired dishes created by executive chef Mark Jeffers infused with local Floridian citrus flavors, ingredients from local purveyors, and the property’s Whisper Creek Farm, which opened in 2012. H&H will offer an interactive cocktail table and large communal seating bar area; bar chefs who will lead personalized cocktail classes; a raw oyster bar; and a menu including dishes such as pig and potatoes; an all-day breakfast dish serving of poached eggs, potato hash, and tender pulled pork with sweet peppers, caramelized onions, and hollandaise sauce; and pimento cheese dip and smoked fish dip presented in a rustic tackle box.

The Intrigue You package, starting at $249 per night, includes overnight accommodations, daily breakfast buffet for two, one complimentary night when guests stay four nights, overnight self parking, and daily WiFi, valid through Dec. 31, 2014. Chez Bon Bon opened earlier this month at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
Chez Bon Bon opened earlier this month at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

The Fontainebleau Miami Beach has reinvented the hotel’s original coffee and patisserie shop, Chez Bon Bon and debuted it earlier this month in the former Solo space.

“Not only does Chez Bon Bon revere the Fontainebleau’s original coffee shop, it will offer a variety of savory and sweet treats that will surpass any other offerings available in town,” says Philip Goldfarb, president and COO of Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

Chez Bon Bon offers guests a sensory experience through live-action stations where guests can watch, smell, and savor the tasty treats, as well as purchase gourmet grab-and-go selections and patisseries. The shop offers gourmet chocolates, specialty cakes, pastries, gelatos, cupcakes, light bites, and quick lunch items, plus coffee by Los Angeles coffee house, Lamill. Chez Bon Bon will be open Sunday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Foodie travelers can indulge in more culinary experiences other than just Chez Bon Bon at the Fontainebleau, with the Signature Dining Plan, which gives guests daily breakfast and dinner throughout their stay at any of the seven dining options starting at $102 pp per night;  kids under 12 eat free. The package includes daily full breakfast buffet at Vida and dinner of choice at a restaurant including an appetizer, soup or salad, an entree and one dessert. This offer saves guests an extra 15 percent, for travel Nov. 9 through Dec. 1, 2014.
