The guestrooms at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa Miami are getting a remodel designed in part by Ivanka Trump herself, as part of a $200 million renovation.
The resort, set on 650 acres in Miami, features 693 guestrooms and 10 lodges with five championship golf courses. Meanwhile, its award-winning spa is 48,000 sq. ft. with 33 treatment rooms offering over 100 services and treatments.
The renovation will start this spring, transforming the guestrooms, main building, lodges, conference areas, spa, food and beverage outlets, pools and Champions Pavilion. The guestrooms will have a “stylish palette of elegant neutrals” designed by Ivanka Trump in collaboration with WATG’s Wimberly Interiors. The artwork will feature photos of golfers who have played at the resort or are admired by Donald J. Trump and the furniture will also be gold-inspired with tartan plaid and geometric patterns.
