Hotel offerings in Las Vegas add to the destination’s appeal, as multiple properties all feature something new.

For example, this past Sunday, April 14, The New Tropicana Las Vegas hosted its newest production, Dancing with the Stars: Live in Las Vegas, for the first time. Running for 12 weeks with eight performances per week, the 80-minute show will feature favorite dancers from past seasons, including stars such as Carson Kressley, Joey Fatone, Sabrina Bryan, Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer. In addition, attendees will be introduced to the “Las Vegas Troupe.”

Weekly showtimes are at 8 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays; 9 p.m. on Fridays; and 2 p.m. matinees on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets range from $40-$89, with VIP packages available from $165 including table seating on the floor, Dancing with the Stars: Live in Las Vegas merchandise and a post-show meet and greet and photo opportunity with the cast. Rates at The New Tropicana Las Vegas start at $69 per night. For more information, call (800) 829-9034 or visit

If clients would rather be away from all of the hustle and bustle of the Strip, consider having your clients stay at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa. Open since March 29 after a $4 million renovation and rebranding project, and featuring 493 rooms and suites, lake and mountain views, two pools, and a lakefront location along Lake Las Vegas, the resort provides a relaxed atmosphere just 15 minutes from the high energy of the Las Vegas Strip.

Amenities at The Westin Lake Las Vegas include a selection of watersports, three restaurants and lounges, the Moroccan-inspired Spa Moulay, and the standard Westin Heavenly beds in every guestroom.

Special grand opening rates start at $125 per night. For more information, call (866) 716-8137 or visit Use booking code SETCCCR.

Alternatively, if your clients are looking to stay right in the thick of things, Riviera Hotel & Casino Las Vegas is offering great deals—for pets, too. The property’s new dog-friendly program is welcoming those four-legged family members to stay, offering special hotel amenities just for them.

For instance, upon check-in, pups will receive a plastic mat, food and water dishes and doggie treats, while their owners gain knowledge of local pet resources, such as grooming, daycare, boarding, pet stores and veterinarians.

The Riviera Hotel & Casino Las Vegas features more than 2,000 guestrooms and suites, more than 100,000 sq. ft. of casino space, and entertainment options including Confessions of a Rock Star starring Pat DiNizio, the Crazy Girls and the Riviera Comedy Club.

Rates at Riviera Hotel & Casino Las Vegas start as low as $49 per night with the Drink Up the Sun promotion, which includes accommodations in a luxury room, two poolside drinks in a souvenir glass, 50 percent off refills of drinks in souvenir glass, and 50 percent off cabana rentals. For a package deal, travelers can enjoy Las Vegas as well as what lies beyond with Insight Vacations’ 7-day Enchanting Canyonlands tour, which combines a visit to the lights and action of the Strip with a more naturally-inspired tour through the landscapes surrounding the Colorado River.
