Las Vegas really does have something for everyone—the high-roller, the foodie, and now, even man’s best friend. Becoming one of a handful of dog-friendly properties on the Las Vegas Strip, THEhotel at Mandalay Bay recently introduced some brand-new amenities for guests traveling with their four-legged friends.
Upon arrival at THEhotel, guests and their pooches will be greeted with a special welcome letter, tasty treats and doggy relief bags. They can then enjoy dog-friendly suite accommodations with in-room, eco-friendly food and water bowls.
THEhotel’s dog-friendly amenities also include special doggie meal options on the in-room dining menu. The Backyard Delight, for instance, consists of hamburger, potatoes, zucchini, carrots, apples, parsley and ground turmeric. Meals range from $9-$17.
Guests may also take advantage of pet-sitting and dog-walking services offered by the concierge for an additional fee. Otherwise, dogs should be properly boarded in-room in a kennel. Various sized kennels are available for rent through the concierge for an additional fee.
THEhotel allows guests to travel with up to two dogs—together weighing no more than 100 pounds—for a daily fee of $50 per canine. With a separate valet, elevators steps away from the resort’s entrance and a designated walking area, this property can cater to even the most discerning dogs.
