Asheville, North Carolina, sees several new openings this year from the Downtown area to the Biltmore Estate.

Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate
The newly opened Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate is located in Antler Hill Village, steps away from the Biltmore Estate Winery, and convenient for experiencing the 8,000-acre Blue Ridge Mountains. The hotel is offering the Discover Biltmore package, which invites guests to explore the history and beauty of Biltmore House and its sprawling gardens and grounds. The package includes accommodations, daily breakfast, the choice of a specialty tour or winery seminar, daytime admission to the estate for the duration of guests’ stay, daytime audio guide to Biltmore House and complimentary estate shuttle service. Guests can choose from a guided house tour, upstairs/downstairs tour, rooftop tour, legacy of the land tour, and red wine & chocolate seminar. Package rates start at $225 per night dbl. The offer is redeemable between Dec. 1 and Dec. 31, 2016.

The Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate benefits from a central location near the shops, restaurants and outdoor activities of Antler Hill Village. It features an outdoor pool (open seasonally), fitness center, casual dining and access to The Spa at the Inn on Biltmore Estate. The historic Biltmore House itself is a 250-room chateau completed in 1895 by George Vanderbilt. Guests can enjoy a self-guided tour of the house’s three floors and basement, which includes displays of vintage clothing, accessories, furniture, original art by Pierre-Auguste Renoir and John Singer Sargent, 16th century tapestries, a library with 10,000 volumes, a banquet hall with a 70-ft. ceiling, 65 fireplaces, an indoor pool and a bowling alley. The grounds include acres of formal and informal gardens designed by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, such as the Rose Garden that features more than 250 varieties.

Also located on the Biltmore Estate is the Biltmore Estate Winery, where guests can enjoy a guided tour and savor complimentary tastings, a wine bar, specialty tastings and more. The exclusive Vine to Wine tour takes guests on an excursion over the river to see the vineyards of the west side of the Biltmore—an area that most guests never see—with a walking production tour and wine tastings throughout.
