In honor of the Chinese New Year, Peninsula Hotels around the world are offering special packages and programs.
In the U.S., the Peninsula hotels in New York, Beverly Hills and Chicago will have a special room rate of $888 per night and offer a $1,000 gift certificate by Van Cleef & Arpels. The Peninsula Beverly Hills will also offer two invitations to The Peninsula Beverly Hills Chinese New Year Celebration Party on Feb. 11.
The Peninsula Shanghai will have a lion dance on Chinese New Year’s Day, as well as Chinese New Year menus, and The Peninsula Bangkok will offer set menus at Mei Jiang Chinese restaurant, a Chinese-themed afternoon tea, a lion dance performance and two packages. The Joyful Holiday package is $292 per night with a 2-night minimum stay in a deluxe suite and includes daily buffet breakfast at River Cafe and Terrace for two and one buffet dinner, as well as a $16 spa voucher. The Prosperous Holiday package is $621 per night with a 2-night minimum in a deluxe suite and includes daily buffet breakfast at River Cafe and Terrace for two; one roundtrip airport transfer by hotel limousines; one Peninsula afternoon tea for two; one set dinner for two at Mei Jiang Chinese restaurant; and a one-hour-and-20-minute Thai massage for two at The Peninsula Spa. Both packages are valid from Feb. 1-28.
