The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota has debuted its newly renovated interiors following a multi-million dollar investment. The re-imagination of the luxury property includes a fresh look for its lobby, a renovation of all 266 guestrooms, and a new Club Level and lounge. The hotel’s new design was inspired by Florida’s Gulf Coast and the unique local history of Sarasota. Guestrooms feature a new color palette inspired by the flora and fauna of the nearby Selby Botanical Gardens and the soft blues and purples of the sea at sunset. Artwork displayed in the rooms is by local artists and students of the prestigious Ringling School of the Arts. The carpet features a non-repeating abstract motif of a Nautilus shell, and the eclectic furniture reflects the Mediterranean Revival style of American circus owner John Ringling’s former residence Ca’ d’Zan.

The Club Level and lounge both continue the seashore theme and have been designed to suggest a shoreside picnic under a banyan tree. Locally captured photographs of seagulls and shore-life, alongside artwork inspired by the Selby Botanical Gardens, combine to make the Club feel like an extension of the outdoors in Sarasota. The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota is located near Sarasota Bay, minutes away from premier art venues, nature sanctuaries and shopping. It features a Gulf-front beach club, a golf club, and a spa and wellness center. Rates start at $419 per night. For more information, call (941) 309-2000 or visit ritzcarlton.com/sarasota.
