SeaWorld Orlando is readying itself for the New Year with the release of its 2016 line-up of special events, unveiling of the logo for the new Mako coaster and announcement of new ticket prices and discounts. The theme park’s 2016 calendar of events include the Bands, Brew and BBQ concert and cookout (Feb. 13 to March 6), Praise Wave Christian music concerts (Saturdays and Sundays from March 12-26) and the family-friendly festivities at Summer Nights (June 11 through Aug. 14). Another exciting reveal is the logo for new 200-ft.-tall Mako coaster, which opens at SeaWorld Orlando next summer. Mako will reach 73 mph along 4,760 ft. of steel track, a feat that makes it the tallest, longest, and fastest coaster in Orlando, according to press materials.

Additionally, as of this month, the price of SeaWorld Orlando’s general admission tickets, purchased at the front gate, are $99 for adults, and $94 for children ages 3 to 9 (a $2 increase). The theme park’s annual passes, starting at $126 pp, are currently being offered at a $30 discount through Jan. 5, 2016. For more information, visit seaworldparks.com/en/travelagents.
